What tools do I need to attend the training sessions?
The tools you’ll need to attend SMC training are:
- Windows : Windows XP SP3 or higher
- Mac : OSX 10.6 or higher
- Internet speed : Preferably 512 Kbps or higher
- Headset, speakers and microphone: You’ll need headphones or speakers to hear instruction clearly, as well as a microphone to talk to others. You can use a headset with a built-in microphone, or separate speakers and microphone.

What is the Certification Validity?
To maintain your credentials, you need will need to earn 40 recertification units or credits every 3 years. Students can also re-apply for the exam after the certification expiry date and earn the certification. However, we recommend you to participate in continuous learning activities to earn Recertification Units (RCUs) to maintain your credentials.
